Itinerary
Day 1
City orientation bus tour The foundation of the north capital, the centre
of science and art: (The house of Peter the First. Menshikov`s and Marble
palaces. Church of Our Savior. Summer Garden and the Field of Mars).
Excursion to the cruiser Aurora. Visit of the Peter & Paul Fortress (the
first construction in St. Petersburg) and St. Peter and Paul Cathedral.
Visit of the waxwork exhibition The Romanov Dynasty in Stroganovsky
palace.
Reception Petersburgs nights.
Day 2
Excursion to the Hermitage Museum the former residence of the Russian
Emperors, one of the largest art museums of the world.
Excursion to St.Isaac's Cathedral one of the largest cathedrals in Europe
and one of the symbols of St. Petersburg.
Boat ride along the rivers and canals of St. Petersburg.
Day 3
Tour to Pavlovsk and Pushkin. The Grand Palace of Catherine, Alexandrovsky
palace and park. Visit the palace of Pavel I and the landscape park,
decorated with pavilions and sculptures.
Excursion Petersburg at night. View of the drawbridges opening.
Day 4
Visit of the Alexandro-Nevsky Monastery.
Visit the Russian museum, the world largest collection of Russian art.
Night theater performance.
Day 5
Boat ride to Peterhoff. Visit of the Grand Palace, summer residence of Peter
the First and park, the masterpiece of fountain art of the 18th century.
Departure to Moscow. Night train.
Day 6
Arrival to Moscow. Orientation bus tour. Dedication to Muscovites. The main
streets and squares of the city, world known sights of the capital. Moscow
Kremlin. Historical architectural complex of Sobornaya Plochad. Church of
Christ the Savior, Novodevichy monastery. Vorobjevy Gory. Poklonnaya Gora,
Kutuzovsky prospect, Arbat street. Night reception Russian nights, Russian
cuisine and folk show.
Day 7
Excursion Kitaji-gorod. Architectural and historical memorials of
15th-16th centuries. Visit to the unique collection of Russian artists
paintings in Tretjyakovskaya gallery.
Night performance in one of Moscow theatres.
Day 8
Park museum Kolomenskoye. The palace and the park of Tsar Aleksey
Mikhailovich. Spassky gates, prikaznye palaty and other architectural
memorials of the 16th century.
Departure to Irkutsk (air flight).
Day 9
Arrival in Irkutsk.
City overview excursion, lunch
Walking in the city downtown, museum of local lore
Day 10
Transfer to Listvyanka village
Museum of Siberian wooden architecture "Taltzy"
Museum of Baikal flora and fauna
Day 11
Trip to Olkhon Island, lunch on the way.
Arrival. Accommodation at the tourist base.
Walk to one of the most beautiful panoramic places on the shore.
Days 12-13
Visiting of a local lore museum, excursions to Siberian shamans holy places,
walking (horseback) trips.
Day 14
Transfer to Irkutsk by car or mini van.
Day 15
Transfer to the airport.
End of services.
