Day 1
Arrival to Krasnoyarsk, accommodation on board, city orientation tour.
Day 2
Krasnoyarsk. Additional excursion program: “Stolby” reservation, Krasnoyarsk
hydroelectric station, Irkutsk – Baikal Lake.
Day 3
Departure. Taskino. Walk in Siberian Forest.
Day 4
Kazachinsky Rift.
Day 5
Yeniseysk – father of Siberian cities. Ancient Siberian city with preserved
memorials of old times, wooden and stone architectonics, visit to Spassky
friary, Trinity church, regional museum.
Day 6
Vorogovo. The only village on route with the characterizing peculiarities of
northern buildings. Acquaintance with the way of life of inhabitants of
Komsa village. Walk in taiga, uha cooked of Yenisey fish.
Day 7
Turuhansk. Walk excursion to the village. Trip down Niznaya Tunguska (right
feeder of Yenisey) between upright mysterious rocks. Crossing the polar
circle.
Day 8
Peschanyi Island - walk to forest-tundra. Additional excursion: fishing
party.
Day 9
Visit of a small Ust-Port village. Virgin nature of Siberia, rough living
conditions.
Day 10
City port Dudinka - the capital of Taimyr region. Bus excursion, visit to
regional museum, center of folk art. Folk concert of the North nations.
