Itinerary
Day 1
Airport or railway station pickup.
Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
City orientation bus tour The foundation of the north capital, the centre
of science and art: (The house of Peter the First. Menshikov`s and Marble
palaces. Church of Our Savior. Summer Garden and the Field of Mars).
Excursion to the cruiser Aurora. Visit of the Peter & Paul Fortress (the
first construction in St. Petersburg) and St. Peter and Paul Cathedral.
Day 2
Excursion to the Hermitage Museum the winter palace of Russian Emperors,
second largest art museum in the world. Excursion to St.Isaac's Cathedral
one of the largest cathedral in Europe and one of the symbols of St.
Petersburg.
Day 3
Tour to Pavlovsk and Pushkin. The Grand Palace of Catherine, Alexandrovsky
palace and park. Visit the palace of Paul I and landscape park.
Day 4
Visit to Alexandro-Nevskaya Monastery.
Russian Museum
Day 5
Peterhoff. Visit of the Grand Palace, summer residence of Peter the First
and park, the masterpiece of fountain art of the 18th century.
Departure to Moscow.
Day 6
Orientation bus tour. Dedication to Muscovites. The main streets and squares
of the city, world known sights of the capital. Moscow Kremlin. Historical
architectural complex of Sobornaya Plochad. Church of Christ the Savior,
Novodevichy monastery. Vorobjevy Gory. Poklonnaya Gora, Kutuzovsky prospect,
Arbat street. Night reception Russian nights, Russian cuisine and folk
show.
Day 7
Excursion Kitaji-gorod. Architectual and historical memorials of 15th-16th
centuries. Visit to the unique collection of Russian artists paintings in
Tretjyakov gallery.
Night performance in one of Moscow theatres.
Day 8
Park museum Kolomenskoye. The palace and the park of Tsar Aleksey
Mikhailovich. Spassky gates, prikaznye palaty and other architectural
memorials of the 16th century.
Day 9
Trip to Sergiev Posad. Troitse-Sergieva monastery founded by Sergy
Radonezsky more than 600 years ago. Architecture of churches of the ancient
monastery. Troitsky cathedral. Famous icons of Andrei Rublev. Fresco. Old
Russian needlework of the 14-17th centuries.
Day 10
Excursion: Many-sided Moscow. Architectural and cultural peculiarities of
tsars, socialistic, and modern Moscow.
Day 11
Trip to Pereslavl-Zalessky. Church town of the 12th century.
Rostov Veliky. Spaso-Yakovlevsky monastery, kremlin. Borisoglebsk town.
Monastery of 1363, Borisoglebsk cathedral, the belfry.
Day 12
Trip to Yaroslavl. Spaso-Preobrazensky monastery the oldest architectural
memorial of Povolzje of the 12th century. Church of Ilija the Prophet of the
17th century.
Day 13
Kostroma town. Ipatjevsky monastery, boyars Romanovs chambers.
Day 14
Return.
