Itinerary
Day 1
City orientation bus tour «The foundation of the north capital, the centre
of science and art”: (The house of Peter the First. Menshikov`s and Marble
palaces. Church of Our Savior. Summer Garden and the Field of Mars).
Excursion to the cruiser Aurora. Visit of the Peter & Paul Fortress (the
first construction in St. Petersburg) and St. Peter and Paul Cathedral.
Day 2
Excursion to the the Hermitage Museum, the winter palace of Russian
emperors, and one of the largest art museums of the world.
Excursion to St.Isaac's Cathedral – the forth largest cathedral in Europe
and one of the symbols of St. Petersburg.
Day 3
Tour to Pavlovsk and Pushkin. The Grand Palace of Catherine, Alexandrovsky
palace and park. The palace of Paul I the First and landscape park.
Day 4
Visit of Alexandro-Nevsky Monastery.
The Russian Museum.
Day 5
Peterhoff. Visit of the Grand Palace, summer residence of Peter the First
and park, the masterpiece of fountain art of the 18th century.
Transfer to railway station. Night train to Moscow.
Day 6
Orientation bus tour. Dedication to Muscovites. The main streets and squares
of the city, world known sights of the capital. Moscow Kremlin. Historical
architectural complex of Sobornaya Plochad. Church of Christ the Savior,
Novodevichy monastery. Vorobjevy Gory. Poklonnaya Gora, Kutuzovsky prospect,
Arbat street.
Day 7
Trip to Sergiev Posad. Troitse-Sergieva monastery founded by Sergy
Radonezsky more than 600 years ago. Architecture of churches of the ancient
monastery. Troitsky cathedral. Famous icons of Andrei Rublev. Fresco. Old
Russian needlework of the 14-17th centuries.
Day 8
Monasteries and churches of the 16th century.
Day 9
Trip to Kuskovo estate - one of the earliest pieces of summer estate
residences of Russia. Noble life and art of the 18th century.
Day 10
Park museum Kolomenskoye. The palace and the park of Tsar Aleksey
Mikhailovich. Spassky gates, prikaznye palaty and other architectural
memorials of the 16th century.
