We
offer you a superb palace and park ensemble, dating from the
late 18th to the 19th century, Pavlovsk was a summer residence
of the Russian emperor Paul I and his family. Your
will find
yourself in the homelike palace of Paul I, which is situated in
the town of Pavlovsk, only 40 minutes drive the centre of
St.Petersburg. Its architects
were amongst the greatest of the period: Cameron, Brenna,
Quarenghi, Voronikhin and Rossi. The landscape park, one of the
largest in Europe, covers an area of 600 hectares.
A
magic, huge landscape park was laid around the Palace of Paul I,
who was looking for solitude in this quiet picturesque place.
Johann Strauss performed with an orchestra in the building of
the Musical Station in the park.
