Europe (101.5 m high). You will visit one of the most beautiful
Russian orthodox churches, the first museum of decorative arts
in the world according to the variety of materials that were
used for its decoration.
Saviour
on the Spilled Blood Church: the 2nd largest museum of
mosaic in the world, (7000 m2) of mosaic covering the church
facade and interior walls. The cathedral in the pseudo Russian
style was founded to commemorate the tsar-martyr on the site
where on March 1, 1881, was mortally wounded by terrorists the
Emperor Alexander II.
Alexander
Nevsky Lavra: Alexander Nevsky Lavra ensemble is considered
to be one of the largest architectural ensembles in St.
Petersburg, comprising 2 churches and 3 cemeteries the
Lazarevskoye (18th-century Necropolis), Tikhvinskoye (Necropolis
of the Men of Art) and Nikolskoye (founded in 1861) cemeteries.
Many outstanding Russian men of culture, statesmen, military and
